Here are some updates to the post that I made 6 years ago about foods that I like.
Erythritol may have contributed to my SIBO. I’ve replaced my erythritol consumption with monk fruit, stevia, and allulose.
My new favorite way to buy saskatoon berries is from Northwest Wild Foods.
For prepared meals, I often order from The Good Kitchen, and occasionally from Paleo On The Go. Except for special occasions, the only restaurant that I order from is Kitava.
Additions to my snack diet:
Kraut Krackers: chips made from sauerkraut and flax.
Wild Cod Liver tastes better than chicken or beef liver, and has plenty of omega-3. Available at Berkeley Bowl.
Paleovalley superfood bars (I like the chocolate and lemon flavors). Ingredients include bone broth, dates, and vegetables.
Wellbean bars: snack bars made with beans. I think the lemon poppyseed flavor is my favorite.
Kodo protein bars: made with sprouted nuts. I had trouble absorbing enough magnesium until I replaced a majority of the nuts that I eat with sprouted nuts.
Yumkies Brownies and Cookies: grain-free, sweetened with allulose. They use pasture-raised eggs.
